PAYMENT

We are unable to accept cash, cheque or bank transfer (direct debit).  All orders will need to be paid by Visa, Mastercard or PayPal through the online store.

 

YOUR ACCOUNT

In consideration of your use of all Bowls New Zealand offers, discounts and promotions, you hereby represent that you agree to provide true, accurate and current information about yourself as prompted through the Site’s registration. If you do provide details that are untrue, inaccurate, not current or complete, Bowls New Zealand has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse all current or future use of the Site. If you use the Site you are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access including but not limited to, your account registration, password and restricting access for any person other than yourself, to your computer. You agree that you accept responsibility for any and all activity that occurs under use of your account and password.

Bowls New Zealand logos are registered trademarks of Bowls New Zealand in New Zealand. Bowls New Zealand trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not Bowls New Zealand or in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers or discredits the Bowls New Zealand brand.

There may be a time where you will be required to register to use some of the features on this Site. When you register, you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. Bowls NZ Shop – Refunds & Returns Policy

Bowls NZ Shop is an online‑only store. We want you to be happy with your purchase and we comply with New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).


Change‑of‑Mind Returns

We offer a 30‑day change‑of‑mind return on eligible items.

To be eligible:

  • You must contact us within 30 days of receiving your item
  • Items must be unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in original packaging
  • Items must have been purchased at full retail price

If approved, we’ll provide return instructions. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing once the item is received.


Non‑Returnable Items (Change of Mind)

The following items are not eligible for change‑of‑mind returns:

  • Custom or personalised products
  • Sale or clearance items

This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act if an item is faulty or misdescribed.


Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged in transit
  • Incorrect or not as described

Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ)

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Is faulty
  • Is unsafe
  • Does not match its description

Depending on the issue, this may include a repair, replacement, or refund.
These rights apply regardless of whether the item is:

  • On sale
  • Custom‑made
  • Outside our change‑of‑mind period

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under New Zealand consumer law.


Exchanges

For change‑of‑mind returns, the quickest way to receive a replacement item is to:

  1. Return the original item (once approved), and
  2. Place a new order online

For faulty items, remedies will be provided in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Banks and credit card providers may take several days to process the refund
